Bio:
Helped lead Baylor to four bowl games during his college career... Played
one year for the CFL's Saskatchewan Rough Riders and four with the Detroit Lions
before coming to the Browns... Acquired in a trade from the Lions in exchange
for QB Milt Plum... Played without missing a game twelve years in the pros
before succumbing to injuries in 1968... Holds Browns season record with 14.5
sacks in 1965... Went seven consecutive games with a sack in 1966... Obtained a
Theological degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in 1963... After
football, entered evangelical ministry at the urging of Rev. Billy Graham and
founded Champions for Life organization... Glass has worked extensively with
prison inmates for over 30 years and has written 11 books, including "Crime: Our
Second Vietnam" with the Terry Pluto... Browns Head Coach Butch Davis owns at
least one book by Glass and invited him in to speak when he was coach of the
Hurricanes...
