Bio:
Drafted by the Browns out of California State, Los Angeles.. A fast
player who spent time at running back in High School... Played in three
championship games in 1965, 1968 and 1969... Played in 167 consecutive games...
Played alongside Jerry Sherk during tenure in Cleveland - many believe that may
be the best defensive tackle combination in team history... Insisted on playing
the entire 1969 title game against Minnesota Vikings despite suffering frozen
fingers in 8-degree weather... Participated in a number of professional
wrestling matches, including one against Bengal linebacker Ron Pritchard and
another against Randy "Macho Man" Savage... Finished his career with a year in
Cincinnati and then retired... Passed away in 1999 at the age of 56.
