| Biography: |
| Shaun O'Hara was a surprise keeper on the Browns roster in 2001, but his stock with the Browns coaching staff continues to rise. O'Hara has displayed a number of characteristics the new coaching regime likes -- in addition to handling adversity. He's a sharp player with quick feet and good hands, always important for centers who must get into position after the snap or risk being plowed under by defensive tackles. O'Hara also brings the added value of being able to play as both a long-snapping center (a position now held by Ryan Kuehl) and reserve guard.
At 6' 3" and 287 pounds, O'Hara has serviceable size for a center. He's also a motivated and hard-working player who consistently improved his skills in the college ranks while playing at Rutgers. He was a two-time, first-team All-Big East selection who started the last 31 games of his college career. |
