Chad Mustard
Ht: 6-6 Wt: 288
Position: TE, OT
Date of Birth: 10/08/1977
Experience: 2
College: North Dakota

Biography:
Another player emerges from the Arena League to try to make it in the pros. The Cleveland Browns are giving Chad Mustard a shot to show what he can do in the NFL. A big guy - big enough that the Browns press release mistakenly called him an offensive tackle- Mustard will be trying to show the Browns what he can do as a tight end. Appropriate for someone who played for the "Omaha Beef" in the AFL, Mustard shows up as 6'6" and 288 points. It's clear he's athletic - North Dakota originally gave Mustard a scholarship for his basketball skills.

After spending the last part of the 2002 season on Cleveland's practice squad, it is clear that Mustard is a developmental prospect intriguing to the team. The Browns assigned Mustard to NFL Europe to see what he can do at tight end. With his size and experience at offensive tackle, Mustard will be interesting to the team if he can catch the ball and get a little seperation on pass routes.
