Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers on May 4, 2007, Murray was waived following training camp. He was then signed by the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent the first 14 weeks of the 2008 season on the Seahawks’ practice squad before signing to Denver’s active roster on December 9, 2008. He was waived by the Broncos on August 17, 2009.
A three-year starter at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, Murray appeared in 41 games with 32 starts in his collegiate career. He earned first-team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association honors following his junior and senior seasons, and was a second-team choice as a sophomore. Born on October 31, 1984 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the 6-3, 316-pound Murray attended Pocahontas (Iowa) High School. |
