PRO CAREER: Enters 3rd season in Chicago and 8th in NFL as a proven blocker who can play both tackle positions along the offensive line… Has appeared in 29 games in 2 seasons with the Bears starting 4 games (3 at LT and 1 at RT)… Has appeared in 75 regular season games, starting 34, between St. Louis, Miami and Chicago with 28 career starts at RT and 6 at LT… Has appeared in 75 of 80 possible games over the past 5 seasons… Gameday inactive for 36 regular and postseason contests over his first 2 NFL seasons with St. Louis.
HOW ACQUIRED: Signed as an unrestriced free agent with Chicago (9/14/05).
PERSONAL NOTES: Honored as an All-American by Super Prep following senior season at William Fleming H.S. in Roanoke, VA…. Earned four letters at tight end and defensive tackle and was also named to the all-regional team by Blue Chip Illustrated and was rated as one of the top 25 players in Virginia… Advanced to state finals in discus all four years and lettered twice in basketball… Honor roll student and member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society.
