| Career Transactions: Signed by Baltimore as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 27, 2008…Waived by Baltimore on Aug. 31, 2008…Signed by Cleveland to the practice squad on Sept. 9, 2008.
College: Appeared in 46 total games, including 10 starts on defense and 17 starts on offense both at Oklahoma and at Independence Junior College…In 36 games at Oklahoma, started 17 contests and carried 367 times for 1,906 yards (5.2 avg.) and 14 TDs…Also added 14 receptions for 64 yards and 1 TD and added 254 yards on 10 kickoff returns…As a senior in 2007 at Oklahoma, appeared in 13 contests, including 12 starts and collected 1,009 yards on 173 carries (5.8 avg.) and 8 TDs and added 10 passes for 56 yards…As a junior in 2006 with the Sooners, earned All-Big 12 Conference honorable mention from the league’s coaches…Played in 12 games and finished with 761 yards on 169 attempts (4.5 avg.) and 4 TDs…In his first year at Oklahoma in 2005, was converted to tailback and also was a special teams standout…During two seasons at Independence Junior College (2003-04), recorded 95 tackles, 11 TFL, 1 sack, 2 interceptions and 7 PBU as a safety.
Personal: Born on Feb. 15, 1984, in Conway, S.C.…Attended Conway High School (S.C.) and excelled as a safety, halfback and kick returner…Earned all-state first-team honors and participated in the Shrine Bowl as a senior…Also recorded 105 tackles, 4 sacks and rushed for 681 yards and 7 TDs and averaged 33 yards as a kick returner…Has worked with his father in brick masonry…Cousin, Lorenzo Bromell, was a standout DE at Clemson and was drafted in 1998 by the Miami Dolphins…Bromell also played for Minnesota, Oakland and the N.Y. Giants before retiring after the 2006 season…Patrick was a sociology major at Oklahoma.
