Career Transactions: Originally drafted by Denver in the sixth round, 198th overall, in the 2006 NFL Draft…Allocated by Denver to NFL Europe on Jan. 11, 2007…Waived by Denver on Sept. 1, 2007…Signed by Denver to the practice squad on Sept. 3, 2007…Signed by Cleveland as a free agent off Denver’s practice squad on Nov. 14, 2007.

Seasonal Reviews:

2007:  Was allocated by the Broncos to NFL Europe and started for the Cologne Centurions…Returned to Denver and was waived at the end of training camp…Signed by Denver to the practice squad on Sept. 3…Spent the first 10 weeks of the regular season on the Broncos practice squad.

2006:  In his rookie season with the Broncos, suffered a right shoulder injury during training camp and was placed on Injured-Reserve.

College:  Received first-team All-Big Ten Conference accolades in each of his final three seasons at the University of Minnesota, where he started all 50 career games played…One of the most decorated players in Minnesota history, received the Outland Trophy (nation’s outstanding interior lineman) and Rimington Trophy (nation’s outstanding center) as a senior in 2005 as a consensus All-American (Walter Camp and Associated Press)…Also blocked for at least one 1,000-yard rusher in each of his four seasons with the Golden Gophers…As a senior, the All-American started 12 games and was a Rotary Lombardi Award semifinalist after anchoring an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks (3) in the nation…Also became the first player in school annals to win the Big Ten’s Offensive Lineman of the Year award…Started 12 games as a junior and was selected as an All-American by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) while being named a finalist for the Rimington Trophy…Selected first-team All-Big Ten as chosen by the conference’s coaches and media that year, becoming the third Golden Gopher since 1963 to earn first-team all-league honors by coaches and media in consecutive seasons…An integral factor in the Gophers being the first team in NCAA history to have two running backs exceed 1,000 rushing yards in consecutive seasons (2003-04) as Marion Barber III and Laurence Maroney each eclipsed that plateau…Chosen as a third-team All-American as a sophomore, becoming the school’s first center to receive All-America status since Ben Hamilton in 2000, and received All-Big Ten accolades that year…As a true freshman, started all 13 games at center as a second-team freshman All-American by The Sporting News.
