| Drafted in the seventh round (selection 234) by the Cleveland Browns on April 29, 2007. The pick was acquired in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys which enabled them to move up five spots in the sixth round.
Steptoe caught 55 passes for 568 yards and two touchdowns last season at Arizona. His real
value to the Browns is as a punt return specialist. He returned 20 punts last
season for a 13.1 average. The Browns are searching for a punt returner after
not re-signing Dennis Northcutt, who signed with Jacksonville in free agency. |
