2006: Second-team All-Pacific-10 honors, with first-team Academic All-Pac-10 citation to go with it. He had 89 tackles, plus team-best 10.5 tackles for loss including two sacks… Had interception at Oregon, recovered three fumbles to lead squad and forced two others, plus knocked down three passes… Will have been a starter at both ends of a seven-year span.
2005: Returned to Arizona after a Mormon mission and picked up where he left off, as a starter… Banged up in preseason and missed the first two games, but started the last six of his eight appearances, finishing with a linebacking corps’ high of 51 tackles including career-high 17 in Arizona’s victory at Oregon State… Earned second-team Academic All-Pac-10 honors in 2005… Returned to Arizona at mid-year in 2005, but was hurt early in spring and had knee surgery in April.
