PRO CAREER: In 8 previous NFL seasons, has opened holes at both tackle positions for five 1,000-yard running backs, including 2 straight in Chicago… Has helped improve Bears offense from permitting 66 sacks in 2004 to just 25 sacks in 2006, tied for 6th fewest in the NFL… Has started 108 of 117 games played with Chicago and Kansas City, starting at least 13 contests in each of the past 7 seasons… Moved to LT with Chicago in 2005 starting 29 games at the position over the last two seasons after opening 34 games at LT from 1999-2001 with Kansas City… Moved to RT in 2002 after the Chiefs acquired Pro Bowl LT Willie Roaf and started all 32 games from 2002-03 at RT… Has paved way for his respective offense to gain over 2,000 yards on the ground in 3 of the last 6 campaigns including 2,099 yards with Chicago in 2005, the Bears highest rushing output since 1990… Since the NFL merger in 1970, owns the longest rush by an offensive lineman after gaining 28 yards in 2002… Member of Chiefs offense that led NFL in scoring from 2002-03 while setting a franchise scoring record in each campaign… Once started 61 consecutive games (12/17/00 - 12/5/04)… Entered starting lineup at end of his rookie season before becoming a full-time starter the next year… Veteran recipient of the 2005 Brian Piccolo Award as voted by his teammates.
