2007 Season
Barclay enters the 2007 season looking to earn the backup running back role behind Jamal Lewis after spending much of his rookie season in 2006 on the practice squad. He currently plays for the Berlin Thunder,an NFL Europe team, where he been highlighted for his big play potential by returning a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown and also rushing for a 52 yard touchdown.
Biography
Barclay left a mark at Wake Forest University by being the career leading rusher in seven stats. Some of these honors include the yards rushing (4,032), scoring (240 points), rushing TD's (40), total TD's (40), and all purpose yards (4,930). He became one of only 3 players in the ACC and 31 in Division 1 history to rush for over 4,000 yards. In 2005 he was named the ACC offensive player of the year after rushing for 1,127 yards on 218 carries with 10 TD's.
Attended Male Traditional High School where he led them to the Kentucky state championship as a junior and state runner-up as a senior. He also lettered in Basketball and track, where he finished third in both the 100 and 200 meter 2001 state championship track meet. He was born October 13, 1983. |
