to fortify the RT position in case of injury to Ryan Tucker... Big right tackle
with a lot of upside potential, similar to backup LT Nat Dorsey.
Career Notes: Powerful blocker for Purdue in 2001-3...
Registered 78 knockdowns in 2003... Redshirted his freshman year due to shoulder
tendenitis... Drafted in the sixth round by the Detroit Lions in 2004, although
he was often predicted to go higher... In second year with the Lions (2005),
moved into starting right tackle job... Moved to the RG position during 2006
training camp after the team's acquisition of free agent RT Rex Tucker... Cut by
the Lions during final roster cut-downs on 9/2/2006.
