Date of Birth: 02/15/1982
Birthplace: South Riding,  VA
Experience: R
High School: Park View HS
(Sterling, VA)

Biography:
Bio: Three-year starter who posted 54/7/3 as a senior after 56 tackles the prior two-years.

Positives: Hard-working interior tackle who effectively stuffs the run. Quickly gets off the snap with a nice first step, uses solid hand technique to protect himself and displays a good head for the ball. Plays with forward lean, stays low to the ground and drives up the field. Commands double teams to prevent him from collapsing the pocket and displays good leg drive. Clogs the middle of the field.

Negatives: Stiff, best in a straight line and not effective laterally. Marginal skills rushing the passer.

Analysis: A prospect who improved his overall technique as a senior, Hoffman has potential as a two gap lineman, if he can make gains in the weight room and add bulk to his frame.
