C.J. Mosley has the size and the talent, being voted the Missouri defensive lineman of the year in his junior year, but the question surrounding Mosley as he enters the NFL is whether he will have the consistent effort to maintain a pro career. The defensive tackle was the Vikings' sixth-round pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
College: Career stats read 167 tackles (111 solos) with 15.5 sacks, 38 tackles for losses, 22 QB hurries, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, three passes defensed and a blocked kick. Redshirted his freshman year, then played in every game the following season, starting five. As a redshirt freshman, finished with 39 tackles, three sacks, eight tackles for losses, three pressures and a forced fumble. Started 11 games as a sophomore, earning second-team All-Big Twelve Conference honors. Had a career-high 67 tackles, along with six sacks, 16 tackles for losses and seven QB hurries. Made first-team All-Big Twelve as a junior for a defense that ranked 14th nationally. Had 61 tackles, including 14 for losses, 12 pressures and 6.5 quarterback sacks. Hotel and restaurant management major.
High School: A three-time first-team all-district selection and all-state selection in his senior year at Warrensville (Mo.) High School, recorded 21 quarterback sacks and 267 tackles during his career. As a senior, he registered 97 tackles and 10 sacks. Also a top shot putter, finishing third in state in 2000.
