| Biography: |
| Cedrick Wilson is a dangerous open-field receiver with the ability to make defenders miss with relative ease. Does not catch the ball effortlessly, at times appears to fight himself to make the reception, but has shown the ability and desire to catch the ball in traffic and in tight coverage. Despite his size, Wilson shows the ability to use his hands to gain release and separation off the line of scrimmage. He runs solid routes and appears to break into a second gear coming off the break. Though not displaying the overall ability to be a legitimate vertical threat in the passing game, has sufficient speed and quickness to release downfield with better than average awareness. Due to the inability of the quarterbacks of the San Francisco 49ers to effectively thrown the ball over the top, the jury is out on whether Wilson can be a legitimate threat in anything but the short-to-intermediate passing game. |
