Cleveland Browns (2002-present)
2003: Played and started fifteen games... Missed only one game (Arizona), due to a back injury.... Played a key role in a rejuvenated Browns defense... Finished season with 79 tackles, eight sacks (career highs), seven tackles for loss and 26 quarterback pressures.... Also intercepted a pass, forced a fumble, and recovered a fumble.
2002: Played in fifteen games, starting all but one... Finished season with 50 tackles and 5.5. sacks... Ran back an ill-advised Gus Ferrotte pass 71 yards against Cincinnati, but didn't score a TD... Recorded a pair of sacks against Houston on 10/20... Also got a sack against Pittsburgh in the AFC Wild Card Game.

Washington Redskins (1997-2001)
2001: Played and started in all sixteen games... Made 77 tackles and four sacks... Also played some at defensive tackle... Had 13 tackles against the Giants (single-game career high)
2000: Backup defensive lineman for the Redskins, appearing in every game, but finishing with only 21 tackles and three sacks.
1999: Appeared in every game, starting the first nine games of the season... Highlight of the season was a superb effort against the Jets, where Lang wound up with seven tackles, three sacks, and the NFC Defensive Player of the Week notice... Wound up with 57 tackles and six sacks on the year.
1998: Started every game, registering 76 tackles and seven sacks.... Also forced three fumbles.
1997: Lang was drafted in the first round (selection 17)... Appeared in 12 games for the Redskins, starting eleven of them... Finished with 52 tackles and 1.5 sacks... Missed several games with a severe inner ear infection.


College Experience
Miami of Florida (1994-1996 )
Left for the NFL draft after his junior year... Made 66 tackles and 11.5 sacks as a junior, starting in each game for the Hurricanes... Got 73 tackles and 3.5 sacks as a sophomore... His 51 tackles and eight sacks as a freshman earned him Big East Rookie of the Year... Redshirted his first year at Miami.

Contract Status:
Signed a five-year contract to join the Browns, which binds him to the team through 2006. His base salary, however, increases dramatically following the 2004 season.
