2005: Bodden gained the Browns' starting right cornerback spot in week eight after highly-touted free agent signee Gary Baxter (Ravens) was knocked out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle, more than doubled his previous season-best production with 56 tackles, all but 11 solo stops. The Washington, D.C. area native also picked off a team-best three interceptions and defended 14 passes while forcing two fumbles. Bodden established a career-high with eight tackles at Houston on Oct. 30 and at Pittsburgh on Nov. 13.
2004:
Bodden played in eight games, including one start, before a season-ending bicep injury placed him on Injured-Reserve on Nov. 9. Prior to his injury he led the team with 18 special teams tackles.
2003: Began season as an undrafted free agent, playing way onto special teams
during training camp... got first playing time at cornerback against Arizona,
recording an interception... Played cornerback in the nickel package and moved
on to starting assignments due to injuries to Browns starting corners Daylon
McCutcheon and Anthony Henry... Recorded seven tackles during first career
start, against Seattle... Recorded tackles as defensive back, plus 11
more on special teams.

Two-time consensus All-American helped Duquesne to four consecutive Metro
Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League titles (1999, 2000, 2001,
2002)…Duquesne went 37-8 overall and 27-1 in MAAC play during his four-year
career…Finished his career tied for second on the all-time NCAA I-AA
interception list with 28—two behind record holder Rashean Mathis of Bethune-Cookman…Still holds
Duquesne interception record with 28, 13 more than second place Dave Pucka… As a senior finished the season with 7
interceptions for 71 yards, 23 tackles and a team-high 4 fumble recoveries…As a
junior tied his own school record with 9 interceptions for 51 yards and 1
touchdown…Also had 34 tackles and 3 tackles for loss for 12 yards and 2 forced
fumbles…Established a school record as a sophomore with 9 interceptions in 11
games…Rolled up 175 yards on his interception returns, which also set a school
mark…Added 46 tackles, a team-high 17 PBU, 3 forced fumbles and 3 tackles for
loss…As a freshman had 4 interceptions, 21 tackles and 5 PBU.
Contract Status: Signed through 2009 season.
