2004: Warren played in 13 games (13 starts) at defensive tackle for Cleveland to record 38 tackles (21 solo), four sacks (26.5 yds.) and a team and career-high three forced fumbles. He ranked third on the Browns in sacks and tied for second on the team with 21 quarterback pressures. In Cleveland's season opener vs. Bal. (9/12), he left the game in the second quarter with a strained pectoral muscle. The injury forced him to miss most of the Browns' contest at Dal. (9/19) before he was inactive for the next three games (at the N.Y. Giants 9/26, vs. Was. 10/3 and at Pit. 10/10). He returned to the field vs. Cin. (10/17), recording two tackles and a half a sack (3.5 yds.) on quarterback Carson Palmer. His presence helped limit the Bengals to only 189 yards of offense, including 58 yards rushing. He posted four tackles (2 solo) vs. Phi. (10/24), including a 4-yard sack of Donovan McNabb in overtime. At Bal. (11/7), Warren posted two tackles (both solo) and forced a fumble while Cleveland limited Ravens running back Jamal Lewis to 81 yards rushing on 22 carries (3.7 avg.) and held Baltimore to 240 yards of total offense. He recorded 1.5 sacks for eight yards vs. the N.Y. Jets (11/21), sharing a sack (3 yds.) of Quincy Carter with linebacker Andra Davis and taking Carter down for a loss of five yards later in his two-tackle performance. Warren's effort helped Cleveland post a season-high six sacks (38 yds.) against the Jets. After recording two tackles at Cin. (11/28), Warren forced a fumble on running back Corey Dillon along with making three tackles (1 solo) vs. N.E. (12/5). He posted a then-season-high five tackles (4 solo) at Buf. (12/12) before adding four tackles (1 solo) vs. S.D. (12/19). Warren's season high for tackles came at Mia. (12/26) when he posted seven stops (4 solo) and an 11-yard sack of quarterback A.J.
