2003: Threw for over three thousand yards for his third straight year, completing 56.9% passes for 3.246 yards and 19 touchdowns... Amassed over four hundred yards passing against Michigan State, Boise State, and Hawaii... Struggled against Tulsa, throwing three interceptions while being sacked six times... Registered a 128 passing rating despite being sacked the most (30 times) in his college career.
2002: Continued his excellent performance as a junior, throwing for 3.529 yard with a 58.6% completion rate... Threw for over 400 yards against Oklahoma State, Penn State, and UTEP... Interceptions increased as opponents compensated for the pass-happy La Tech offense... Reeled off a 53-yard run against Texas A&M... Finished with 19 TD and interceptions on the year.
