Biography:
Tony Banks is a capable quarterback that has struggled throughout his professional career. While the ability to make the necessary throws exists, Banks’ long release and forcing of the ball into coverage has made him a sitting duck for turnovers. Banks takes too long in recognition, holds the ball too long in the pocket, and consistently makes poor decisions. His inability to minimize turnovers and playing in numerous has been determental to his success. At this time in his career, Banks is a backup type player.
