| Greg Pruitt, Jr. is the son of College Football Hall of Famer Greg Pruitt. Pruitt's father was a two-time All-American at Oklahoma and was runner-up in the 1972 Heisman Trophy voting. As a pro, Greg Pruitt was a five-time Pro-Bowler with Cleveland and Oakland, rushing for 1,000 yards or more three times. Greg Pruitt, Jr. rushed for 1,854 yards on 202 carries and scored 25 touchdowns his senior year at Shaker Heights (Ohio) High School in 2001. The 5-11, 190-pound Pruitt redshirted last year at Minnesota and became an academic casualty, forcing his transfer to Georgia Military, where he finished as the team's leading rusher. |
