Browns head coach Romeo Crennel informed the media this morning of the suspension, informing reporters that Tucker was "very disappointed" with the situation. Crennel also told reporters that Tucker has known about the situation for five days. The veteran tackle had the right to appeal, but has decided to forego that opportunity. Tucker's suspension takes effect during the first week of the season. He can continue to practice with the team and play during the pre-season, but will miss the team's first four regular season games.
