The First Annual Eddie Johnson Charity Golf Classic

A Cleveland Browns fan is a breed all their own. We accept our players not only as a part of our team . . . but as a part of our family.

A member of that family now needs your help.

Most know Eddie Johnson as a warrior on the field who is worthy of his nickname "The Assassin." Some of you may even know of the extensive charity work that he has done and continues to do. What you may not be aware of is the battle that Eddie is fighting off of the field – a battle against cancer.

Eddie is attacking this opponent head on – just as he did his opponents on the field – and is on his way to beating it.

You are cordially invited to join as we raise funds to aid him in this battle.

In the process, you’ll enjoy a day at one of Ohio’s premier country clubs – Tanglewood – for a day of terrific food, golf and the once in a lifetime opportunity to play with a local celebrity (many of whom are Eddie’s former teammates). We will be playing in 5-man teams in a best-ball scramble format (celebrity as the 5th man).

After golf, you will enjoy a prime rib dinner, silent auction and a raffle drawing.

Proceeds are to benefit the medical care of Eddie Johnson.
