Rogers was on hand to accept the award of being the Cleveland Chapter of the Pro Football Writers Association's Player of the Year at the club's banquet Monday Night.
He spoke about patching things up with Mangini and said he will be at voluntary minicamp starting on Tuesday.
"That's why I'm here," Rogers said. "I'm not (in town) just to see you guys."
Rogers was asked how he and Mangini settled their differences.
"Just like grown men do," he said. "That's in the past. I'm more worried about this year and getting going."
Rogers said he's excited and ready to get to work.
"I just feel comfortable being here," he said. "With this economy, I feel lucky that I can go to work."
Rogers said he was honored that he was chosen the team's MVP.
"It's more of a team award," he said. "You can't accomplish things alone."
Rogers was honored along with teammate Brandon McDonald who won the Good Guy Award. Mangini sent the entire rookie class of 2009 to see what 700 Browns fans are like.
"I'm ready to get going," McDonald said.
