The Browns issued two press releases within minutes of each other this afternoon: one regarding the resignation of former executive T.J. McCreight, the other a statement from former Browns great Ozzie Newsome on the hiring of George Kokinis as the Browns' new general manager.
BROWNS ACCEPT RESIGNATION OF T.J. McCREIGHT
The Browns announced today that they have accepted the resignation of Director of Player Personnel T.J. McCreight.
After the two parties took the weekend to discuss his role with the Browns moving forward, McCreight opted to resign from his position with the team.
The Browns thank T.J. for his service and wish him luck in the future.
