Quinn to Start Thursday

UPDATED: BROWNS CONFIRM! Reports breaking this evening indicate that Brady Quinn will assume the role of starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns this coming Thursday against Denver.

5:50EST The report has been confirmed by the Cleveland Browns.

5:35EST The report, made first by ex-Browns QB Trent Dilfer on ESPN, have not been confirmed by the team. Dilfer has no track record as a reporter, but the move wouldn't be incredibly surprising given the Browns loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

Lane Adkins reports at this hour that word from within the Browns locker room indicates that the "buzz" around the team is that the switch will be made, but the move has not been announced to the players.

The Cleveland Browns have been contacted by the OBR for comment, but have not yet responded.
