BROWNS 2008 PRESEASON OPPONENTS ANNOUNCED

Browns visit the New York Giants on Aug. 18th on ESPN’s Monday Night Football

The Cleveland Browns opponents for the 2008 preseason were announced today by the NFL. All dates and times for the games will be determined at a later date.  The Browns will be featured as one of the NFL’s nationally televised preseason games at the New York Giants on Monday, Aug. 18 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN.

The Browns will open the preseason schedule with a home game in Week 1 (Aug. 7-11) of the preseason vs. the New York Jets.  The Browns have consecutive road games at the New York Giants on Monday, Aug. 18 in Week 2 and will visit Ford Field and the Detroit Lions in Week 3 (Aug. 21-25).  Cleveland concludes its preseason slate by hosting the Chicago Bears at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Week 4 (Aug. 28-30).
