With the entirety of the team's first-day 2008 draft selections traded away,
and little money left on the salary cap to bring in new free agents, it's very
possible that there won't be any huge Cleveland Browns stories on the horizon
for several months.
While your friends at the OBR could certainly busy ourselves with daily
analysis of potential second-day draft picks, examining likely rookie free
agents and upcoming trading camp battles, we realize that no one really cares
about that stuff. It's boring.
So, to keep the OBR relevant during the months ahead, the site will eschew
our normal articles to focus on a new feature: LOLPLAYERS.
LOLPLAYERS will be a hilarious - and sometimes touching - adaptation of the
latest Internet "meme", LOLCATS. Inspired by ICanHasCheezeburger.com (see above
photos), Lolcats.com and others, we hope to
cash in on help extend this loveable internet craze.
Think of the fun as quaint misspellings and clever captions make their way
into the world of sports!
In addition to LOLPLAYERS from the OBR Crew, fans will be invited to create
their own LOLPLAYERS using our software to upload and stamp photos with their
craziest and wildest ideas. Before commenting, make sure you learn
