Sirius Radio's NFL channel has been a long-time addiction for your friendly
neighborhood webmaster. It's a rare day that the
still-soggy OBR headquarters isn't tuned in to Sirius channel 124 for two
hours or more.
This week, Sirius Radio's Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan swung through Cleveland on
their
annual training camp tour, and had the opportunity to talk to a number of
key individuals for the orange and brown. The team really rolled out the red
carpet for Sirius and made Romeo Crennel, Phil Savage, Braylon Edwards, Reuben
Droughns and others available to the satellite radio network. OLB Willie McGinest, who doesn't
spend a great deal of time with the local media, even spent a while with talking with Tim and Pat.
We've been very fortunate to secure the audio from those interviews for
OBR
subscribers. These are internet exclusives which provide some unique insight
into what's on the minds of the players and coaches on the Browns.
The crew at Sirius have been very cool to us in providing these audios, and
we really appreciate their sharing them with us. You will be able to find them
on our front page in the area titled "Media Center".
I've been a fan of Sirius radio for a long time, long before they ever did
the OBR any favors. Folks in the WWRants forum had to put up with me getting all
excited when I found out that Cleveland radio legend Kid Leo had a weekend show
on the Underground Garage channel. I have to admit a weakness for the First Wave channel
as well (yeah, I'm in my forties, don't make fun of me).
Sirius' NFL channel, though, is probably the closest thing that you can find
to taking the OBR on the road at this point.

In the meantime, enjoy these internet exclusives provided by Sirius. At the
moment, there are interviews from Romeo Crennel, Braylon Edwards, and Phil
Savage. We'll be uploading more throughout the evening.
