Posted Apr 24, 2004

The Browns plowed forward despite their inability to land Robert Gallery, and executed a trade this afternoon which allowed them to draft TE Kellen Winslow of the Miami Hurricanes.

While the Browns were unable to execute a trade to land their supposed first choice, Robert Gallery, they were able to move up one spot in the draft and land another much-prized selection, TE Kellen Winslow, Jr.

Winslow, considered to be one of the three players the Browns truly prized, as the last one left on the board. OT Robert Gallery was taken with the second selection of the draft by the Raiders. Sean Taylor disappeared with the fifth pick by the Washington Redskins.

More details as we get them, live from Bunker Bar and Grille in Medina, Ohio!
