David Carducci reports from Berea this afternoon that the Browns have made a couple of roster moves in advance of Sunday's game against the Chargers.
The Browns will need to wait to see if Jones can clear waivers before they can potentially re-sign him to the practice squad. BerniesInsiders.com will track the waiver wire to see if another team picks up the speedy WR from Iowa. The Browns earlier this year played with making Jones a defensive back, but he has returned to his previous role as a receiver.
In other news, OL Shaun O'Hara denied printed reports that he hurt himself celebrating. O'Hara told reporters this afternoon that he actually injured himself against the Bengals earlier this season. O'Hara said that he had been playing through the injury, but that he re-injured himself during the final drive of the Raiders game.
Commenting on a report from BerniesInsiders.com that he would be unlikely to play before the Browns visit Kansas City, O'Hara said that he was still hopeful of being able to play sooner, and would try to return when the Browns face New England a week from Sunday.
