- WR Josh Gordon recorded five receptions for a game-high 132 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown on a flea-flicker. He has three 100-yard receiving games this season, the most by a Browns player since Braylon Edwards had three in 2008. All eight of Gordon's career touchdowns have come from 20-plus yards.

- TE Jordan Cameron recorded four receptions for 81 yards. Heleads the team this season with 49 receptions, 596 receiving yards and six touchdowns. His 49 receptions are tied for the second most by a Browns player in the first eight games of a season, while his 596 receiving yards are the second most by a Browns tight end in in the first eight games of a season.

- Making his first start for the Browns, QB Jason Campbell completed 22 of 36 passes for 293 yards with two touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 105.4 rating. He completed a pass to nine receivers, a season-high figure for the club. Campbell registered the third-highest rating by a Browns quarterback in his debut start since 1999.

- RB Fozzy Whittaker recorded two receptions for 22 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown, the first of his career.

- The Browns and Houston Texans are the only NFL teams to have not allowed a 100-yard rusher or a 300-yard passer in a game this season.

- The Browns tied a season-high with six sacks to increase their season total to 26. Cleveland has had a sack by 14 players this season and multiple sacks by seven players (LB Barkevious Mingo 4.0, DL Desmond Bryant 3.5, LB Craig Robertson 3.0, LB Paul Kruger 2.5, DL Phil Taylor 2.0, LB Jabaal Sheard 1.5 and DB Chris Owens 1.5).

- Rookie LB Barkevious Mingo recorded a sack and leads the team with 4.0 on the season.

- The Browns allowed a season-low one sack against a Kanas City defense that entered Week 8 averaging an NFL-best 5.0 sacks per game (35 total sacks).

- DB T.J. Ward registered his first sack of the season.

- LT Joe Thomas extended his consecutive-snaps streak to 6,376, the longest active stretch in the league. Thomas has started all 104 games and hasn't missed an offensive play since being selected by the Browns with the third overall pick in the 2007 draft.

- C Alex Mack has started and played in each of the first 72 games of his career. He hasn't missed an offensive snap during his career, a stretch of 4,451 plays.

- K Billy Cundiff connected on a 44-yard field goal. He is 12 for 14 on the season.
