Browns Announce Player Deals, Promotions

The Browns today officially announced new deals for TE Aaron Shea and OL Shaun O'Hara. Shea has signed a three-year contract, as reported on BerniesInsiders.com last week. O'Hara's deal is for one year, and the team did not provide information on whether the deal was different from the tender offer given to the restricted free agent earlier this year.

The team also announced new titles for front office personnel. Lal Heneghan has been promoted from Assistant Director of Football Operations and General Counsel, has been promoted to Vice President of that same department. Pete Garcia's title has been promoted from Director of Football Development to Vice President, Player Personnel and Football Development. Also, as relayed via Hot News last month, the Browns have announced that Jeremy Green has been promoted to Director of Pro Personnel.
